Haley Wallace
Director
The Convent
Haley Wallace (she/her) is a Theatre-Arts Major at College of the Sequoias in Visalia. Her previous directorial credits include Witch by Jen Silverman and All In the Timing: The Universal Language by David Ives. She serves as club president on the executive board of The Artistic Company (ArtCo) at COS. She intends to continue to dive further into her directing and playwriting career by beginning to develop original works in the coming years, as well as branch out into further directing endeavors. Haley is thrilled to work with this fantastic cast of women and with UR Here Theater Company.

Brenna Jared

Brenna Jared (she/her) is happy to be collaborating with UR Here. Previous credits include IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE as (Zuzu) at College of Sequoias, DREAMERS AQUI Y ALLA (Sound Designer) at Cal Poly Humboldt, and FANTASTIC MR. FOX (Assistant Stage Manager) at Cal Poly Humboldt. Brenna thanks her mom for always supporting her in everything in life.

Brooke Aiello

Brooke Aiello (she/they) is excited to be reading this play with these women in this space. Previous credits include IN THE NEXT ROOM (Catherine), AS YOU LIKE IT (Jacques), MY COUSIN RACHEL (Rachel), and HEDDA GABLER (Hedda). Brooke would like to thank her cats Prospero and Beatrice for allowing her to be here today.

Karina Balfour

Karina Balfour (she/her) is an adjunct instructor of Theatre at Fresno City College. She earned her BA in Theatre (Fresno State) and MFA in Acting Pedagogy (University of Alabama). Karina spent 9 years in Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, GA performing in theatre, and teaching at several colleges. Most recently she was seen in BOOK OF WILL (Stageworks), THE HUMANS (FCC), MATILDA (CMT) and ZOOT SUIT (Selma Arts Center); and directed THE LINE (FCC) and NO EASY ROAD TO FREEDOM (FCC). Love to Steve and Beckett!

Cheryl Ann Carlson

Cheryl Ann Carlson (she/her) returned home to the valley in 2019, she lives in Kingsburg, CA where she mothers to spunky toddlers and runs a new theater company - The Village Barn Playhouse. Previous credits include ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA (Octavia) at Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Mustardseed Hermia u/s) at Theatricum Botanicum, and IS HE DEAD? (Cecile) at Glendale Center Theatre. Cheryl is so grateful to UR Here Theater Company for all they doing to create more theater here in the Valley!

Cassidy Kipp is an actor, theater maker, and artist. Some previous credits include PICNIC (Madge), A RESPECTABLE WEDDING (The Wife), and OVERSTIMULATED (Ensemble). She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch. “Mystery is not that which is unknowable. Mystery is that which is endlessly knowable.”

Shelley Mast

Shelley Mast (she/her) works as an LVN part-time and is also exploring new creative outlets part-time. This is her first stage reading. She would like to thank her partner-in-life and her grown children for their example and their encouragement to live boldly and embrace adventure!

Anand Purewal

Anand Purewal (she/her) is excitedly returning to acting after several years away from her craft! This is her first performance with UR Here Theater Company. Some previous credits include A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM (Puck), RASHOMON (The Wife), CABARET (Kit Kat Club dancer), & MOON OVER BUFFALO (Rosalind Hay), at College of the Sequoias. After living & working in Los Angeles, Anand is excited to rejoin the theater community in the central valley. She would like to thank her family & friends for all of their support, especially her loving husband, Kyle. Anand dedicates this performance to her mother & sister, two strong amazing women.

Brooke Rogers (she/her) is an ASL interpreter at The College Of The Sequoias and couldn't be more excited to be in such a daring and brilliant show. Previous credits include MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING (Dogberry), STUPID FUCKING BIRD (Mash), and THE KING AND I (Anna) at COS as well as interpreting shows at COS and the Selma Arts Center. She would like to thank her director for giving her the opportunity to play such an incredible character, and her family for their ongoing support and love.
