Iraq War Prayer

Jennifer has been acting in school projects and other locations since the third grade. She has her BA degree in Theatre and uses those skills every day in her education career as a teacher and Math Coach. She further honed her abilities doing theatre work with Theatre 3, Woodward Shakespeare Festival, Roger Rocka’s and Shine Theatre of Fresno. Her favorite role was B in Three Tall Women.

Ethan is excited to be part of UR Here's new season.  He has acted in various companies around the central valley, and they are looking forward to being back on stage.  After this performance, you can find them in Selma Arts Center's production of Matilda as Rudolpho!

Typhus in Wartime

This is Andrew's first performance with UR Here at The Rogue Festival. He has done several shows with Fresno City College, independent films, as well as forming the ska band Iwanaga. He would like to thank his wife, son, and family for the support.

Iraq War Prayer

Michael has been theatre in various forms and venues around Fresno since he was about 10 years old. Many shows at Theatre Three were followed by almost ten years of work with Woodward Shakespeare festival, including acting directing and lots of setwork. He was a founding member of Artists’ Repertory Theatre and has done several shows with Roger Rocka’s. He wrote and directed his own Rogue Festival play, titled The They, which was presented about 10 years ago.

Therese has loved story telling all her life! While most of my experience has been like most others, consisting of movie watch and reading, I have been fortunate enough to also be in a handful of local productions. I’m excited for my first Rogue performance and keeping storytelling a part of my life!

Jared has a wide variety of experience in local theater including Pride and Prejudice, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Proof, Fools, Stage Door (Good Company Players). Death of a King, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Spring Awakening (Selma Arts Center). Midsummer's Night Dream, She Kills Monsters: Virtual Realms, El Henry (UC Irvine). Dance Nation (UR Here Theater), The Comedy of Errors (Fresno State), La Cage Aux Folles (StageWorks Fresno), She Kills Monsters (Fresno City College). Typhus in Wartime

Renee started volunteering for the Rogue Festival in 2006. She has worn many hats in Rogue Festival- venue manager, producer, board member, and actor. She felt it was time to direct for Rogue and is thrilled to be working with UR Here. Renee recently co-directed Selma Arts Center Teen production of Mean Girls and is expanding her directing horizons. As always, support local theatre!

Iraq War Prayer

Brenna Jared is excited to be directing her first play- Iraq War Prayer. She went to College of Sequoias and then Cal Poly Humboldt where she majored in theatre. Brenna hopes to go back to school for teaching credentials in art education.

Typhus in Wartime

James McLindon is the playwright of "Typhus in Wartime". He is a member of the Nylon Fusion Theater Co. in New York. His play "When We Get Good Again" won the Playhouse on the Square’s New Works at The Works competition and premiered there in Memphis, winning the Ostrander Theatre Award for Best Original Script. The play will receive its third production this fall in New York.

Mr. McLindon’s plays have been developed and/or produced at theaters such as the O’Neill (selection and six-time semifinalist), PlayPenn, Victory Gardens, Lark, Abingdon, hotINK Festival, Irish Repertory, Samuel French Festival, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New Rep, Lyric Stage, Boston Playwrights, Local Theatre, Telluride Playwrights Festival, Great Plains Theatre Conference, and Seven Devils.

His plays have been published by Dramatic Publishing, Smith & Kraus, Brooklyn Publishing, Applause Books, Next Stage Press, and Original Works Publishing, and produced all over the world including London, Edinburgh, Ireland, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, Luxembourg, India, Dubai and Estonia. And now, Fresno.

Irag War Prayer

Mr. Yeager is a humorist and defiant messenger for social justice. He started his professional writing career by winning $5 in a college poetry writing contest. Then collecting rejection slips from the likes of Playboy, Esquire, The New Yorker.

Taking on technical jobs in newspaper and book publishing. Eventually he got hired to write comedy ads for 7-Eleven for many years, collecting International Awards for Radio comedy, CLIOs and ADDYs.

In the 1980s, Mr. Yeager set up his own creative services agency and working for the Fortune Top 50 corporations and ad agencies.

In the late '90s, he managed progressive non-profits and started teaching self-development courses in maximum security prisons. He have been involved with restorative justice for almost twenty years.
